The Mark Morris Dance Group and Music Ensemble return to the Joyce Theater with Dances to American Music, a three-program series celebrating Morris’ lifelong devotion to music.

This July, experience the joy of learning excerpts from one of Mark Morris’ work before seeing it on stage. Guided by a member of the Mark Morris Dance Group, participants will explore Morris’ distinctive movement style while connecting to the energy and storytelling of Dances to American Music. Open to dancers of all ages and abilities, this class welcomes everyone to move, learn, and have fun.
