Mid-Winter Dance Camps
Fill your mid-winter break with dance and music! MMDG and Brooklyn Music School (BMS) have partnered up again this year to offer an amazing Music and Dance Camp for children ages 5 to 12 during the New York public school 2026 mid-winter break!
In the morning at MMDG, campers will have the opportunity to learn about choreography and different dance styles. Throughout the week, they will apply these concepts to create their own dances! In the afternoon at BMS, students will explore music concepts through daily drumming, musicianship, choir and musical theater classes. This Mid-Winter session will be inspired by Mark Morris’s critically acclaimed “MOON.’
Location(s):
The Music and Dance Experience will take place in a multi-campus format, with the beginning of the day taking place at MMDG (3 Lafayette Avenue) and the afternoon taking place at the Brooklyn Music School. (126 St. Felix Street). The week will culminate in an informal performance for Family and Friends at the Brooklyn Music School Theater.
Our Mid-Winter Camp is open to children at all levels, with and without disabilities.

- Group A: Ages 5-6 (all levels and prior experience)
- Group B: Ages 7-8 (all levels and prior experience)
- Ages 9 – 12 (all levels and prior experience)

EARLY DROP-OFF: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM
STANDARD DAY: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
EXTENDED DAY: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
