The Mark Morris Dance Center provides an ideal workspace for dance, music, and theater rehearsals. Across our seven fully-equipped studios, the Dance Center can accommodate groups of all sizes, from large groups requiring ample space, such as large musical ensembles, to small emerging dance companies.
First Time Renters:
If you are a first time renter, please submit a Rental Request Form to setup a profile and request space. Upon booking space, you will receive a detailed contract outlining the MMDG’s rental rules and guidelines.

Subsidized Rehearsal Space Program
The Mark Morris Dance Group’s (MMDG) Subsidized Rehearsal Space Program (SRSP) aims to reduce barriers to accessing high-quality rehearsal space for independent dance artists and companies based in New York City.

- Triple-basketweave sprung sub floors, covered with a Marley-type PVC dance floor
- Portable and fixed ballet barres
- Pianos
- Natural light
- Sunshades
- Access to restrooms, lockers, and showers
- Adjacent lobby space
