Studio Rental
The Mark Morris Dance Center has six fully-equipped studios available for rent. The column free studios feature wood-sprung floors (with marley), portable and fixed ballet barres, pianos, and sound/video playback systems. Each studio also has heating, air-conditioning, and natural light. An additional multi-purpose studio is also available (see below). Other amenities include dressing rooms with showers and lockers, vending machines, two outdoor terraces and two lounges.

Subsidized Studio Rental Program
The Mark Morris Dance Group has established a rental subsidy program to provide rehearsal space to the dance community at deeply discounted rates. This program is supported by generous grants from the New York State Council on the Arts, the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and Balletmakers/Capezio. Dance companies and individual dance artists must meet the funders’ guidelines to qualify for a subsidized rate. The Mark Morris Dance Center allows qualifying dance companies or artists 75 hours of rehearsal space at the subsidized rate per fiscal year. Additional Rental Spaces
The Mark Morris Dance Center has additional spaces available for rent including lounges, terraces, a conference room and Studio D; a new, multi-purpose studio. These spaces are perfect for meetings and special events. For further details, contact studio manager Karyn Treadwell at , ext. 202 or at .
Event Rentals
The Mark Morris Dance Center is available to rent for special events. We cater to Arts, Education and Community groups, along with commercial rentals, all subject to Dance Center availability and approval. Fees are based on rental rates, provided services, labor costs, cleaning costs, security fees, additional staff requirements, and overtime.
