Educational Licensing

College/High School Licensing:

Select works choreographed by Mark Morris are available to license by performing groups within educational settings at the High School and College level, in the United States and abroad. These dances represent the breadth of Mark Morris’ repertoire ranging from works for a small number of dancers to large ensembles, and set to music from solo piano to orchestral works.

In collaboration with each partner’s administration and faculty, the experience is tailored to meet the needs and aspirations of its students. The collaborative nature of each partnership ensures its success. Each dance is staged by former or current MMDG company members, who are experienced educators and have worked for many years with Mark Morris.

In selecting a dance for schools to license, consideration is given to various factors such as the number of dancers in the program, dancers’ technical proficiency, the length of the piece, and production requirements. Detailed information about music, costumes and lighting will be provided.
